Our office prepares and files/serves three (3) different release types:

1. Full Release: Select this release is used if you have received full or satisfactory payment for the amount owed and would like to fully release your claim.

2. Partial Release: Select this release if you have received a partial payment for the amount owed and would like to maintain the claim for the remaining balance.

3. Withdrawal: Select this withdrawal if you have not received any payment, but would like to remove the claim. For example: If you pass the deadline to enforce your claim, you may want to withdraw your claim.

Special Note

Effective January 1, 2018, the California Senate passed Senate Bill 2 which adds an additional $75.00 filing fee for each real estate related document filed. This fee is levied per property, per document title. Once we complete the title research, our team will notify you if there are any additional fees due. You will have an opportunity to cancel if you decide not to proceed. Most of the time, there are no additional fees due.

Certified Copy of Filing

A certified copy is an "official copy" issued by the government agency. The certified copy has a special stamp which certifies your filed documents as a "true and correct copy." We recommend that you purchase a certified copy for your own records.

There is an additional $35.00 fee for each certified copy. It is not required, but we recommend that you purchase one for your own records.

Rush Same Day Turnaround

We can rush and have your documents prepared the same business day instead of the normal 2-3 business day turnaround.

Terms and conditions for same business day turnaround

For rush orders placed by 3:00PM PST on ordinary business days, My Legal Depot will prepare documents the same business day; completed documents will be emailed/delivered by 10:00PM PST.

All rush orders placed after 3:00PM PST will be completed/delivered the next business day. We are closed weekends and all state and federally recognized holidays.

This offer is not a guarantee that we can complete your documents same business day; each case is unique and if our team is unable to be complete your documents same business day, My Legal Depot will immediately notify you and refund you the rush service fees. It is rare that we are unable to fulfill a rush request, but some cases are complex and require more time to complete.
